The interview: questions, salary, probation

The German interview is a polite interrogation: punctuality is sacred (10 minutes early), handshake, Sie-form until offered "du". Top questions: "Erzählen Sie von sich" (tell about yourself — prepare 2 minutes), "Warum wir?" (know the firm), "Gehaltsvorstellung?" (name a figure: ~10% above expectation, range 50–60k). Ask your own questions — "no questions" looks indifferent.
