Shot sizes & storyboard

The camera can move "closer" and "further" — and that changes feelings. Wide shot shows the place, medium shows the hero, close-up shows emotions. A storyboard is a comic of your shots.

• ●😮 Close-up: face — WHAT they feel
• ●🐜 Detail: keys, hand, watch — an important detail

Recipe for a good scene: start wide (place), go medium (action), give a close-up at the key moment (emotion). Every film does this.
