Job boards and networking: where to look

The big boards: Arbeitsagentur (jobboerse.arbeitsagentur.de — official and free), Indeed (all levels), StepStone (office jobs), LinkedIn (international), Xing (the German LinkedIn), kununu — employer reviews like "Zalando for firms". But 40% of jobs never get posted — the "hidden market": friends, direct calls ("Initiativbewerbung" — applying without a posting works!), LinkedIn posts.

●Set a "job alert" for profession + city — the posting comes to you
●kununu + Glassdoor: check the rating BEFORE applying — red flags are visible
●LinkedIn in German: recruiters search by keywords

🔍 "Initiativbewerbung" is the German trick: writing to a firm WITHOUT a posting. 1 in 10 lands in a drawer, but 1 in 20 in an interview.
