Artificial intelligence is not a mind or magic — it is a program that finds patterns in data. Show a system a million cat photos — it learns to tell cats from dogs without knowing "what a cat is". AI is everywhere: translators, navigation, video recommendations, voice assistants, spam filters.

●Strong AI — human-like mind: does not exist yet
●AI does not "understand" — it computes probabilities

💡 The term "artificial intelligence" was coined in 1956 at Dartmouth — the technology caught up with the imagination only 60 years later.
