The prescription: pink, yellow, blue, green

Prescription color = type. PINK = standard Kassenrezept: the insurer pays, you chip in €5–10 (Zuzahlung). YELLOW = Privatrezept for private cases, you pay. BLUE = also private, rarer. GREEN = doctor’s “buy it yourself” suggestion (not a prescription, a recommendation). Validity: pink 28 days, yellow 3 months, blue/green 6 months. Miss the deadline = prescription void.

●Lost prescription → doctor issues duplicate, be quick: deadline runs
●Bring eGK (insurance card) — without it pink doesn’t work

📄 Pink = 28 calendar days, not “come within the month”. On day 29 the pharmacy must refuse — even for life-saving meds. That’s the law.
