Tap water in Germany is drinking quality — €0.002 per litre. Mineral water: "sprudel" sparkling, "medium" mild, "still" flat. Coffee averages 4 cups a day. Juice: "Direktsaft" 100%, "Nektar" 25–50% fruit, "Saftschorle" diluted with sparkling water — a healthy option. Energy drinks and cola: there is no sugar tax — the litre price tells you a lot.
