Answer quality equals question quality. The good-prompt formula: role + task + context + format + example. "You are a maths teacher. Explain fractions to a 5th-grader who loves football. Give 3 sports examples, short, no jargon." Bad prompt: "tell me about fractions" — gets you a generic article.
- ●Give a role: "you are a doctor/lawyer/editor" — changes the style
- ●Ask for format: "as a table", "5 points", "for a 10-year-old"
- ●Iterate: "shorter/more precise/different tone" — dialogue improves it
- ●Paste data into the prompt — the model sees no files or screen
🧪 Try it: same question "explain gravity" vs "explain gravity as a pirate in three sentences" — the answers are worlds apart.
