A screenplay is the instruction manual for filming. Every scene starts with WHERE and WHEN: "INT. SCHOOL — DAY" or "EXT. PARK — EVENING". Then action and dialogue.

- ●MASHA: Where did it go?!
- ●Cat Barsik sits ON the backpack.
Writer's rule: SHOW, don't tell. Bad: "She was sad". Good: "She slowly closed the door and sat on the floor". Action > words.
💡 Homework: write 1 scene — 3 dialogue lines + 1 action. That's already a real script!
