✅ Lecție parcursă
Mortar is the building site’s glue. The types: cement mortar (strong, outside and load-bearing, MG I–III), lime mortar (breathable, for old buildings), gypsum mortar (inside, sets fast), tile adhesive. Mix: cement:sand ~1:3–1:4. Masonry: brick, aerated concrete (Ytong), sand-lime — joint ~10–12 mm, the first row on level and line.
- ●“Honey consistency”: mortar holds the trowel but does not stand
- ●Bonded joints: each row offset half a brick — strength
- ●Old buildings need lime mortar: cement suffocates walls and mould grows
🧱 DIN 1053 is the mason’s bible: joint, bond, load. Masonry is "built in bond, not slapped on".
