A film lives when people watch it! Aspiring directors show their work at school film festivals — in Germany: Schlingel (Chemnitz), Lucas (Frankfurt), SchulKinowochen. Bloggers show films to thousands online.
- ●Home premiere: show the film to family on TV!
- ●School premiere: ask your teacher for a screening
- ●Festivals: Schlingel, Lucas, local youth film contests
- ●Online: our site's bloggers share city creativity
Real-life connection: Kapnula has city bloggers and a forum. Made a film about your city — show it in the city thread! Film school + community = your first audience!
💡 Pro tip: keep your best work in a portfolio folder. Young filmmakers later apply to film schools (Filmakademie Ludwigsburg, DFFB Berlin) — early films help!
