The internet is not lawless: copyright — downloading films via torrents means a warning letter ~€800–1,500 (Waldorf Frommer watches). Photos of others without consent breach personality rights. Slander and insult online are like offline. Youth protection: under 18 no adult content, distribution up to 2 years. Screenshots of private chats — publishing without consent is an offence.

📵 The German "Abmahnwesen" is a fine industry: law firms catch torrent users en masse and send ~€1,000 letters. Streaming is legal — torrents are not.
