The BahnCard is DB’s discount card: BahnCard 25 (−25%, ~€62/year) pays off from ~€250 of tickets — 2–3 trips; BahnCard 50 (−50% on Flexpreis, ~€244/year) for frequent travellers, only on Flexpreis, just −25% on Sparpreis; BahnCard 100 — the year pass for everything (~€4,900/year) for daily commuters. Trial versions from ~€18 for 3 months — test first.
- ●BahnCard 25 + early booking = trip for ~€14
- ●The subscription auto-renews — cancel 6 weeks ahead
- ●Under 26 and over 65 pay less for the card
💳 Trick: BahnCard 50 gives −25% on Sparpreis too — early booking + card combined and you ride the ICE at FlixBus prices.
