Driving times: the trucker’s rest rules

EU driving times are iron safety law: max 4.5 hours driving → 45-minute break (15+30 possible). The day: at most 9 hours at the wheel (twice a week 10). The week: at most 56 hours driving. Night rest: 11 hours (or 9 "reduced", three times a week). Driver card + tachograph record everything — cheating ~€400 fine plus firm liability.
