The rule of thirds: mentally divide the frame into a 3×3 grid — every phone has it, turn it on. The horizon sits on a line, not in the middle; eyes on the upper line; the subject on an intersection. Leading lines (road, fence, bridge) guide the eye. Negative space — the emptiness around the subject strengthens it. The German rule: "less is more" — tidy the frame, move closer.
- ●Turn on the grid — the free composition teacher
- ●Shoot at subject level: children and animals from below, not above
- ●Frame within frame: arches, doors, branches add depth
🖼 Photography was partly invented in Germany: Leica (Wetzlar) created the 35 mm film format in 1925 — ruling the world for 100 years.
