Class D covers buses: D1 (minibus up to 17 seats, from 21), D (the big bus, from 24 — or 21 with vocational training), DE (bus + trailer). Extra: school bus and tour bus have their own rules. Passengers mean responsibility: training covers people skills, evacuation, children. Bus driver is a shortage job: BVG, FlixBus, DB Fernbus.

- ●Bus drivers earn ~€2,500–3,200 — less than truckers, but more social
- ●Code 95 applies too: professional people-driving = same training
🚌 The bus is the safest transport: ~10× fewer accidents per kilometre than cars. And the most social — grandpa and schoolkids share one vehicle.
