The easiest garden is herbs: basil, parsley, dill, mint, chives grow year-round in pots. The secret: a sunny window (south/west) and correct cutting — snip basil above a leaf pair so it branches and thickens. Mint survives even half-shade but takes over the box — plant it separately.
- ●Easy start: cress and arugula on cotton — harvest in 7 days
- ●Spring onions from a store stub — free and endless
- ●In winter herbs want light: a lamp or the brightest window
🧑🍳 Your own basil + balcony tomatoes + our recipes = a "garden dinner" after a week of learning.
