✅ Lesson done
Night fires are the deadliest: smoke wakes through suffocation, visibility zero. Escape plan on the wall: 2 routes from each room (door + window), assembly point outside, roles (who carries kids, who calls). Practice: once every 6 months blindfolded/by touch — smoke steals sight. The last one out closes doors — slows the fire. Never go back for belongings: 3 minutes is the limit.
- ●Palm on the door: hot = smoke outside, take another route
- ●Assembly point = headcount: the firefighter must know if all are out
- ●Teach kids: hiding under the bed = trap, get to the door
🚪 German offices must run yearly escape drills — and inspectors ask “where is your assembly point”. 30 seconds of prep = saved lives.
