✅ Lesson done
A telescope collects light — the bigger the mirror, the farther you see. Hubble has photographed billions of galaxies since 1990, and the James Webb telescope (2021) sees in infrared the first galaxies ever — light that traveled 13+ billion years. On Earth, the strongest telescopes stand in mountains and deserts — far from city lights.
- ●Hubble: 2.4 m mirror, in orbit since 1990
- ●James Webb: 6.5 m mirror, 1.5 million km away
- ●A ~200 € amateur telescope shows Saturn\u2019s rings
💫 Telescope photos are time travel: the farther an object, the older its light.
