✅ Lesson done
The truck ladder: C1 (3.5–7.5 t, from 18 — the "post truck"), C (any truck, from 21 — or 18 with fast-track vocational training), CE (C + trailer — the "full" rig, needed for semi-trailers). All require: medical, eye test, first-aid course, theory (~60 questions), practice (~45 min). Code 95 is the professional driver certificate (mandatory for paid EU driving).
- ●Code 95 lasts 5 years — 35 hours of training needed
- ●Driver shortage: ~70,000 open jobs — work is guaranteed
- ●Truckers earn ~€2,800–3,800 plus bonuses — but nights on the rest stop
🚛 Germany is Europe’s logistics capital: ~€400bn turnover, every third tonne rides a truck. The economy stands on long-haul.
