✅ Lesson done
Germany is a culinary melting pot. The Döner Kebab was invented in Berlin (1970s, Kadir Nurman!) — now Germany’s favourite dish. Your kitchen can mix: German products + home recipes. Borscht — beets from local fields, solyanka — with potatoes and pickles. Asian shops, Turkish markets, Russian delis — found in every town of 30k+.
- ●Adapt: Sauerkraut instead of cabbage — “German” borscht
- ●Quark = tvorog for syrniki and cheesecake (Magerquark is cheaper)
- ●Döner at home: flatbread + chicken + yoghurt sauce — 10 minutes
🇩🇪 ~2 billion Döner are sold yearly — more than Currywurst. A “German” dish with Turkish roots: symbiosis that works.
