✅ Lesson done
The garden year: March–April — sow seeds on the windowsill (tomatoes, peppers), April — radish, lettuce, peas straight into the bed; after the Eisheilige (~May 15) — warmth lovers: tomatoes, cucumbers, basil; June–July — weeding and early harvest; August–September — harvest and plant garlic; October — mulch and planning.
- ●The Eisheilige are the last frosts ~May 11–15 — nothing frost-tender goes out before
- ●Radish is fastest: from seed to plate in 4 weeks
- ●Mulch — a layer of straw/leaves: holds moisture and feeds the soil
🌱 Seeds keep long: tomatoes and cucumbers still sprout after 3–5 years, radish after 5+.
