✅ Lesson done
A boundary is the line where your responsibility ends and someone else’s begins. Without it — burnout. Three types: physical (space, touch), emotional (not digesting others’ drama as your own), time (my evening is not your plan). Assertiveness is saying no without aggression and without 10-minute justifications. Formula: short no + 1-sentence reason + alternative if you like: “Can’t today, tired — tomorrow?”
- ●“No” is a complete sentence: no 5 reasons needed
- ●A guilty face cancels the no: body and words must match
- ●Whoever rages at your no needs the boundary most
🚧 The German “Ich habe leider keine Zeit” is the reference soft boundary: brief, no details. The “leider” does all the work: polite and closed at once.
