Kita and primary school: the transition

Kita → Grundschule is the big step: at 6 into school. Preparation: language level (German must carry), independence (dressing, toilet), social skills. Enrolment follows the address (district school), exceptions by application. The Schulranzen is the sacred purchase ~€100–200: ergonomic, reflective. The Einschulung is a festival: the Schultüte (sweet cone) is a centuries-old tradition.
