✅ Lesson done
The package shows a Nutri-Score: letters A (green) to E (red). Points count: “bad” — calories, sugar, salt, saturated fats; “good” — protein, fibre, fruit and veg. The healthy plate per DGE rules: half vegetables and fruit, a quarter protein, a quarter side dish. Tap water is the main drink — German Leitungswasser is clean.
- ●Goal: 5 portions of fruit and veg a day (400–650 g)
- ●“Light” ≠ healthy: check sugar, not the ad
- ●Steam/bake instead of frying — less fat, more flavour
🥗 “German food = heavy” is a 20th-century myth. The modern family eats salad, quark, whole grain — often fewer calories than an “Italian” diet full of oil.
