✅ Lesson done
The official letter: sender (you) → recipient (office) → date → subject with case number → "Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren" → request → "Mit freundlichen Grüßen" → signature. Phrases: "hiermit beantrage ich…", "ich bitte um…", "in der Anlage finden Sie…". No humour, no emojis. Short sentences — officials read fast.
- ●"Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren" — when you do not know the name
- ●"Ich bitte um schriftliche Bestätigung" — at the end of every letter
- ●Subject = Antrag auf … / Case number: X-123 — not "Hello"
📬 A letter without a case number gets lost 40% of the time — with the number it lands in the file the same day.
